The Charles River Regatta and Recognizance Missions

Last weekend we headed out to yet another fabulous, fun, fall event (my class has recently been working on alliteration) in Harvard Square...the Charles River Regatta. It was a bit chilly when we headed out so we bundled up in jackets, a scarf, and stuffed some gloves in our pockets. We definitely had SFD (seasonal fashion disorder) since by the time we got the river it was quite warm out! We grabbed lunch at Tory Row, one of my favorite lunch spots in the Square, before heading down to the river. Even though the Square was super crowded we enjoyed the time by the river watching the races. I love when I have the Square all to myself, but I also really enjoy those times when the Square seems to be the center of excitement. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pictures to share :-(

This time of year always seems so busy. Last year there was the "Great Pumpkin Debacle" in which JO and I had to take out our calendars to schedule a time to carve our pumpkin. This year we didn't even have time to get a pumpkin but at least it's for better reasons than school stress. We've been checking out venues for our wedding. Hopefully we'll have a place picked out in the next few weeks- just a few more places to check out!
