The Brattle's Oscars Party

I got JO a Brattle Theater membership for his birthday.  We go to the theater a lot, and have resolved to go more.  A perk of being a member is that you get to go to their annual Oscars Party.

I have to say, the Brattle did a great job with this event.  The theater was decorated with white lights, lanterns, and tulle.  There were appetizers, a bar in the theater, and of course the telecast on the big screen.  A lot of people got really dressed up.  I couldn't find anything that matched my snow boots, but maybe next year :-)

I wish I had watched more of the movies that were up for awards this year because everyone seemed to have favorites, and the cheering was quite loud at times.  It was a really fun way to watch the Oscars.
