Tile Shopping, Article 24, BKBeast Mode, and the 5th Element, Oh My!

Just how much can you do in one day?  JO and I decided to answer this question with an action packed day of one part adulting and three parts city winning!

First up, tile shopping...again!  I think we're getting closer and I think we've now visited every tile shop in Watertown (which, by the way there are a lot.)

You can work up quite a "thirst" shopping for tile so JO and I decided to stop by Article 24 in Brighton on the way home.  (Perhaps this was the real reason JO agreed to go tile shopping in the first place?)  We had gone here after our last tile adventure and really enjoyed it.  Low and behold, the bartender remembered us and we remembered their epic nachos!  Good nachos are hard to come by!

Then we ditched the car back at home and headed over to our rock gym for the BKBeast Mode finals.  We had no idea what this was going to be but it was free since we were members and also came with a free beer from Aeronaut, which is almost impossible to get into these days, so we figured we had to go just for the chance to drink one of their beers.  The event ended up being really fun with crazy feats of strength.

We ended the evening by walking over to Harvard Square, through some beautiful neighborhoods, to catch The 5th Element at the Brattle.  I really had no interest in this movie but JO really wanted to go and he is always going to my stuff so I went.  You know what, it's really a great movie and I'm so glad we went.  The theater was also packed which made it even funner!

Overall, it was a super successful and fun city day!
