One Last (or so we thought) Patio Night in November

I love patios!  Patio season signals the end of winter and snow and puffy coats and winter boots!  The end of patio season, on the other hand, isn't great since it ushers in cold, snow, darkness, and everything I hate about winter.  That's why we try to extend patio season for as long as possible.

In early November we got a blast of warmer weather and it was delightful!  I usually stay late at school on Fridays but I opted to leave at the end of the day so we could squeeze in one more patio season.  We were lucky enough to be joined by a couple of our good friends which made the evening even better.  The only tricky part, finding a patio that was still open in November.

We tried Art Bar first because they have fire pits and we figured their patio would be open.  We were pretty surprised to find out that their patio was indeed closed.  Since failure wasn't an option, we walked a little further done and found that Dante's patio was open and there was a great table with a beautiful city view just waiting for us!  We've eaten at Dante once before and I wasn't super impressed with their food but this time I thought it was fantastic.  We got a bunch of appetizers and split two main courses.  I'm already dreaming of the first spring night when we can head back!

On the way home we took "the long way" back to enjoy more of the city views!  Seriously, the views from that part of Cambridge are the best views of the city!  When I moved to the city ten years ago this night was exactly what I had been hoping for!
