On a Friday night in mid-October, JO and I headed over to Petit Robert in the South End for a fun night out. We braved a considerable amount of "street fog."
It was a beautiful fall night and we could have eaten on the patio, but there were two seats at the small, intimate bar in the front part of the restaurant and I couldn't resist.
I have really become quite fond of Petit Robert. It's a perfect French restaurant- they nailed the design, the coziness, the round bistro tables, and most importantly, the food. I was definitely looking forward to a snacking night so we ordered the meat and cheese boards and paired it with some bread.
Of course, we also got some cocktails. JO got the French 75 and it is definitely a signature drink for them. I got the no-frills espresso martini which paired perfectly with the cozy nature of the bar.
