For a friend's bachelorette party I organized a visit to the Ghosts and Gravestones Trolley Tour. I've seen the tour out and about in Boston several times and it was the perfect thing for this friend, who is Halloween obsessed.
I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say it was well worth the price of the ticket. We chose to go on the 9:00 pm tour and I'm glad we did. The darkness definitely added to the atmosphere. The tour takes you to two cemeteries, the Common, and all over the city telling Boston "ghost" stories. Half the fun for me was driving around Beacon Hill and the Back Bay. I love that part of the city and it didn't bother me that the trolley driver was taking the "scenic" way around to pass some time. We lucked out with a great tour guide who really enjoyed his role.
