We ended up checking out Commonwealth and their market before settling in at a table at Za's Pizza. Za's has a great Mexican salad and yummy pizzas. We both enjoyed the sunny weather while admiring the peacefulness of the neighborhood.

Kendall Square Sundays
We woke up one Sunday in June to an absolutely spectacular early summer day. We knew we wanted to have lunch outside but figured Harvard Square would be a mess. Instead, JO suggested we head over to Kendall Square. On the weekends Kendall is so quiet, even when it's crazy busy you can get an outdoor table. Of course, it might be tougher now that Tommy Doyle's closed but still it's your best bet for outdoor seating in Cambridge.
