The Nutcracker. December is a super tough time to be an elementary teacher. I can't compete with Santa and the December Crazies intensifies with every passing day. This year I find myself teaching division during December which isn't helping anyone.
The Nutcracker was like the only thing getting me through last week. This year we ended up meeting up with friends who had also gotten tickets for the Thursday night show. We grabbed dinner at Teatro before the show. This place never, ever disappoints!

The production was excellent this year. I always forget how fast paced the show is and was a bit sad when it was all over! Since it wasn't freezing out we took the long way home and walked up Charles Street (the perfect holiday strolling street in the city) which was a perfect way to cap a lovely night out.
