In a fun coincidence, the friend I visited in Portland was actually out in Boston the week after I got home. She organized a get together at the Public Gardens. We lucked out with the weather and the afternoon picnic in the park was a big success.
After the picnic, we decided to extend the afternoon with drinks and apps at Sip Wine Bar and Kitchen. There were eight of us, so we grabbed two tables on the patio and split up into a girls table and a boys table, middle school style! The sun was setting, the bubbles were flowing, and the company was great!
City winning for sure!
