As I've said before, one of the things I love about living in Inman Square are the annual traditions the business association puts on. Last year the ISBA started a new event, the Harvest Hoedown. It was a big success so they decided to make it even bigger this year.
They closed down Springfield Street and incorporated games like Cornhole and picnic tables to make the event even more festive.
The weather could not have been better and the sun was shining the whole time. The secret ingredient this year was butternut squash. The local restaurants each created a bite featuring the ingredient and there was also a competition for best table decor.
In between samples we spent some time in the beer garden listening to the live music.
It had been a really crazy week and this fun neighborhood event was just what I needed!
