Shopping, Drinks, and Snacks in Harvard Square

When a good friend suggested a pre-December holiday shopping outing to Harvard Square in early November, I of course took her up on that offer.

The weather ended up being really beautiful, warm enough to read outside while I killed some time in the Square after a mixup with where we were meeting.  I sat outside Crema Cafe and soaked up the sun.

We spent the afternoon going in and out of the different shops in the Square.  It was so nice to be able to relax and not rush around.  Although neither of us ended up buying anything, we got some good window shopping in.  After shopping, we decided to swing by Park for drinks and snacks.  Apparently we were the first ones there so we were able to get seats in the lounge, in the big arm chairs.  I've been eying this spot since Park first opened, but it's always been filled when I've gone before.

We ordered a few different appetizers from the menu, and they were all really delicious.  Park has a really unique variety of small plates to choose from including their famous bacon tasting three ways.

Shopping, drinks, and a good friend- a lovely way to spend an unseasonably warm Saturday in the Square!
