MayFair and the Breakers

May Fair, Harvard Square's annual celebration of spring, is my personal sign that summer vacation is attainably close.  I look forward to the outdoor festival every year.  This May Fair the weather seemed perfect, sunny and in the 70s.  We had a fun time wandering around, shopping at the vendors, and eating lunch outside.  Eventually, we found our way to the patio at Red House for some drinks before taking a look at the chalk drawings on Church Street.

After May Fair, JO and I headed across the river for another Breakers game.  While we had been in the Square we realized temps were dropping fast.  We hadn't really planned for this, and there was no chance we were missing the game since a former student of mine was playing in the game, so we bought a blanket at the Harvard Shop.  Temps kept plummeting and at the half as I was pretty cold.  JO made me buy a beanie hat (that I looked ridiculous in) at the merchandise stand.  Despite the chilly weather, the game was great!  It's always so fun to watch a former student making her dreams come true.

After the game, we walked home and I had dreams of summer vacation!
