First, Massachusetts moved into Phase 3. While I applaud my governor's solid leadership during this crisis (with the exception of closing late, waiting a bit on the mask mandate, and opening before Memorial Day) I am worried that we are plowing ahead with Phase 3 while other states in a similar position as us are pausing, analyzing, and rethinking. The more you open the more people will start to throw caution to the wind and as we've seen in other states, indoor = bad.
Second, Gracie's Ice Cream is back open and serving fluff cones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be headed there this weekend for one and my summer heart is absolutely giddy about it!
Third, and most importantly, I got to have a night out with one of my best friends (socially distanced of course!) We got take out from the Smoke Shop in Kendall, headed over to the picnic tables nearby, sat on opposite corners, and caught up, live and in person. We've had some Google Hangouts together during this time but getting to see each other in real life was great. We had fun catching up, reminiscing about our experiences these last few months, and what the future holds. It was a gorgeous night to be outside. I had fun making these sanitized, personal picnic supply packs (new calling maybe?)
