In all honesty, I love starting my mornings with barre and pilates. I can't say enough good things about OpenFit!
The big excitement for Friday was going to Trina's Starlite Lounge to enjoy dinner on their new patio. We've checked this patio out a few times and felt like it was very safe. The tables are really well spaced out, they take your number for contact tracing, face masks are required whenever a server is at your table, and menus and payment are all through your phones.
The best thing about Trina's patio is that they really tried to make it feel like you were inside the restaurant. They have a nice mural, great paint on exposed fences, their LGBTQ flag is proudly displayed, there's a Miller High Life neon sign, and other nice touches. The Trina's gang is also just a genuinely kick a$$ group of people and the food is always delicious. It was nice to do something almost "normal." I've really been missing restaurants lately and it was great to reconnect with some neighborhood faves.
