Luckily for me, yesterday was the start of the "new" WNBA season and it was fun to get to watch some of my favorite Forever Huskies play!
As a women's sports fan, I was super proud for how the women organized this season around social justice. The season is dedicated to Breonna Taylor. Each player has Breonna's name on her jersey and when the players were interviewed before, during, and after the game they each made sure to reframe the conversation to bring attention to Black Lives Matter and the murder of Breonna.
