The nice weather makes everything better. Knowing that we can go outside without oppressive heat and humidity is a definite mood booster.
We took advantage by enjoying dinner at Moona. They really have created a lovely oasis and it's nice to escape reality for a little bit. Plus, I'm never going to be able to make pickled turnips, no matter how hard I try.
I've been saying what the Fridge has been saying for a while now. If we saw what is going on in our country on all fronts (pandemic response, the corruption, etc.) we would be intervening. World, we need help!
This is a tough question?
I'm going with #7. (I'm pretty sure that face is in response to his team doing the exact opposite of whatever he called in the huddle). It boggles my mind when I think about how badly our country has failed in its response to the pandemic. Every step of the way we have messed up. Testing. Tracing. Education. Unity. It's not "it is what it is." Look at countries in Europe, look at New Zealand, look at Canada. These countries had a unified, national plan and have succeeded. If you want to know why schools can't reopen safely, it's because we have failed to contain the virus.
