Once again, the weather was absolutely gorgeous! JO and I definitely took advantage of the weather!
We headed over to Charles Street to see if anything had gotten better in Boston. It hasn't! We made it 3/4 of the way down the street before the crowds became unsafe. We grabbed some sandwiches from Tate and headed over to the river. We found a lovely spot, with plenty of shade, and enjoyed our yummy food.
After lunch we decided we would head over to Alcove on Lovejoy Wharf. Our walk took us through this secret park in the West End that I had no idea was there. It's always fun to discover a new spot!
We were happy to find a table for two on the patio at the Alcove. We enjoyed some delicious oysters and a glass of bubbles! This patio is a great fine. It's set far away from the street so there aren't many people milling about. The tables of very spaced out. Safety protocols are clearly posted and adhered to. (I took a peak inside and I love the decor inside. It made me miss indoor dining.)
Later in the evening we had dinner at the patio at Ole. I'm happy to be able to support one of our favorite spots! It was a really lovely way to spend the evening. We followed that up with a screening of Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead! I love, love, love this movie and at least once a week I say, "The dishes are done, man!"
And finally, some food for though!
