Day 52~ WEAR THE MASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 52 was a gorgeous, spring day.  I definitely wanted to get out and enjoy the warm weather but I knew it would probably make me a bit upset, because we were sure to see not safe behavior and I'm just over people being selfish. 

We decided to go for a run.  Wearing a mask while running sucks.  It just does.  But running is a choice and if I want to run outside, then I'm wearing the mask.  No questions asked.  No complaining.  I'm putting on the mask and dealing with it.  Why?  Because I'm not selfish.  I know I have a part to play here and I WILL do my part!!!

There are some real bonuses to wearing the mask:
*no need to do makeup anymore- I mean, maybe some eye makeup, but screw the blush and foundation
*I can mutter all I want and no one will know

After our run (where we had to change course because we saw so many people not wearing a mask) we Zoomed with our Parlor Sports family.  Yup.  That's right.  My favorite neighborhood spot had a Zoom call so we could all "hang" out together.  It was so nice to see everyone.  And yes, my sports bar is better than yours!

Since it was so nice out, we decided to go out for a walk.  This time we walked through Union Square and I have to say, Somerville is exceeding the standard when it comes to rule following!  Everyone had a mask, people moved over on the sidewalk, etc.  We made our way over to Bow Market and much to our excitement, Hotbox Pizza was open!  We were also able to pick up a bottle of wine from Rebel Rebel.  Along the walk home we saw lots of fun things.

Have you heard about the murder hornets?  Because 2020 hasn't been exciting enough!
