Day 67~ I Saw People in Real Life

Day 67 was a big one!  I had a "socially distant" real life meet up planned.  Birthdays don't stop during a pandemic and I had a very special present to deliver to a very special two year old!  I love being a niece and one of the tough things over the last 67 days is not getting to see my "niece and nephew" in real life.  On day 67 I drove all the way to the South Shore (wow, highway driving, I haven't missed you) to deliver this Minnie Mouse motorized bike.

I got to see my friends and their two kids from a safe distance, while wearing a mask.  Sure, the visit was different.  It was hard not to go in for those hugs and kisses but other than that it was a "regular" visit.  We talked about what the last 67 days have been like.  We talked about our families and milestones and joked about the past and the future.  It was different but it was nice and it was perfect and it filled my heart.

When I got home, we did another somewhat normal thing and went on a Target run.  It wasn't as successful as we had hoped 😱There seems to still be some supply chain issues.  Also, thanks to the pandemic and me not wanting to touch anything, my impulse purchases were kept in check!

For our evening entertainment we made some delicious Southside cocktails and watched the latest Cirque du Soleil content!  I love not having the Sunday Blues!!!
