It was still crazy windy on Sunday, but the temps were in the high 50s, so JO and I decided to go for a walk around the Brattle Street neighborhood. We've lived in the city for eleven years and I don't think we've ever explored this part of the city. I drive down Brattle Street all the time, and I love all the giant mansions, but we've never really walked around. We started at the Longfellow House. The house may be closed but the gardens are still open. We even saw three older women having a "socially distant" picnic. It was really cute and the gardens were really pretty. I love that we are getting to explore "new to us" parts of our city.
We also saw these signs at a construction site recently. The leadership displayed by this construction company is x1,000,000 more than anything we've seen out of the White House. I especially love the first one!
And since it was day 60, we felt the need to celebrate with a drink. We've made it 60 days. We've done our part. We stay in 95% of the day. We follow the rules. We wear gloves and a mask. We don't take risks. We really need everyone else to do the same.
