Deep Thoughts from Day 69

On Day 69, I found myself agreeing with Marianne Williamson.  She's kind of wacky, but I do think she really is empathetic and tends to think about what is causing hurt or pain in people.  Her statement is pretty fire when you stop to think about it.

It made me think of this other statement I saw recently.  When someone says they want to slow things down on re-opening, that doesn't make them a horrible person.  It doesn't mean they are a democrat or a republican, a socialist or a communist.  It might actually mean that they want their government to protect the workers and store owners who are willing to risk their lives because they are desperate.

These two things from Tuesday made me feel happier about the world.

I've sat on this couch for 69 days and stared out the window.  I have to say, it hasn't gotten old.  I am lucky to be able to spend this time in my beloved apartment, in a living room that lets me peak out on my beloved neighborhood.
