Day 55 was a weird one. I had a great start to the day, but around 1:00 I started to not feel well. I felt really run down and my elbow joints were aching. I also felt exhausted and I could barely move off the couch. It was the strangest thing. Of course, my mind jumped to the virus. I started replaying the last few days in my mind. I got mad at myself because when JO brought home coffees on Sunday morning I didn't disinfect the cups. Then there was the time I went to check the mail and was sure I didn't touch anything so I didn't wash my hands. And of course, the other day we went to the grocery store and I had to touch the self scanner machine. I used sanitizer afterwards but that's not a replacement for hand washing. JO and I have been hyper vigilant but this was a wake up call that we've been letting our guard down a bit and we need to do better. (When we got home from the liquor store today, we disinfected all the bottles 😁)
Day 55 was also
Cinco de Mayo, Cinco at Home. Nothing fancy for us here, just store bought taco mix but I did cook and mush up the black beans which ended up being pretty tasty.
I had also toyed with the idea of trying my hand at margarita making, but opted to stick with the Southside because we had all the ingredients and it's so easy!
Also, I got myself some professional cocktail equipment.
While we enjoyed dinner, we watched Geno Auriemma's IG Live with Sue Bird. OMG! Geno is doing weekly Lives now and my Husky heart is so full!
Someone posted this, and man do I feel old!
And finally, I'd like to congratulate whoever chose to blast "Live and Let Die" while the Twitter Chief was touring a mask factory, while not wearing a mask!
