Day 21- I've Given Up on Catchy Titles~ Sorry, Not Sorry

I woke up with another annoying headache on Day 21.  I spent most of the day relaxing and doing not much of anything...and I found that quite annoying.  It is also left me with a lot of time to think, and I got to thinking about what this will be like when this is over.

Disclaimer~ I wish we weren't in quarantine, I wish people weren't sick or dying, I wish the world didn't have to pause back in March.  I am in no way, shape, or form thankful for any of that (and I miss my neighborhood and the city desperately) but I have been incredibly grateful for the peacefulness that this time has given me.

I don't spend an hour and a half in my car each day.
I don't spend tons of time running errands.
I don't spend hours and hours on the weekend doing school work.
I don't freak out if I'm running five minutes late thinking about how that will mess up the entire day.
I don't meticulously plan out my free time down to the minute to make sure I can squeeze everything in to the day.

When I do have to go back to my old life, will I be able to handle it?  That's going to feel like going back to school in September x 1,000,000.  Will I be able to handle things again?  This time has really given me a reality check in terms of how seriously crazy fast paced my life was like and sometimes I wonder how I ever kept up?

In a lighter note, we spent some time watching everyone's favorite cousins from the early 90s! Huge shoutout to Hulu!

Did you hear about Draper James, Reese Witherspoon's clothing line, giving away free dresses to teachers?  What a thoughtful gesture! Check out the company's IG soon to sign up.

I'm enjoying the Hartford Courant's recent posts.  They've been going through their photo archives.  This one, of the best women's college basketball team ever, was a lovely find on Twitter today.

Also, I think this administration hit a new low with this:

That's exactly what a national stockpile is for!!!!!!!!  We are the UNITED states of America not the states of America.

And I found this Tweet to be spot on!

And finally, you can stop 2020.  We don't need to develop any more Growth Mindset, resiliency, and grit! Can you imagine this administration handling a natural disaster during all of this!
